Jessica Speiser
I am a graduate student at South Dakota State University in the wildlife and fisheries program. I am interested in all things wildlife. More specifically, I'm fascinated by spatial ecology, carnivore conservation, wildlife management, and human-wildlife interactions. I've been fortunate enough to work for state and federal agencies, as well as in private and non-profit conservation positions. I am a member of the Cheeseman Lab at South Dakota State University. Dr. Amanda Cheeseman is an amazing mentor and advocate for her students. Amanda Cheeseman, PhD
Dr. Cheeseman's research broadly focuses on the relationships between mammal species and their habitats to answer today's conservation and management challenges. She works in highly impacted systems, using collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to better understand these complex and dynamic relationships across multiple spatial and temporal scales. |
